Wild Yeast - An introduction

In this hands-on, interactive workshop I will show you a really simple method for getting a great loaf with very little time and effort spent overall. The aim of this course is to give you an idea of how sourdough works and how easy it is to create your own loaf so that you can confidently build on your newfound knowledge at home. You will bake a prepared loaf during this workshop, and prepare your own dough to take home in a proving basket to bake off at home.
In this workshop you will learn the following:
What is sourdough;
How to make and maintain your own wild yeast starter culture;
Bake a simple sourdough loaf which you can easily replicate at home;
How to fit baking with sourdough around your daily life.
